At Penwortham Primary School, we believe that high-quality educational visits and visitors are an essential part of our curriculum. Carefully planned enrichment opportunities bring learning to life, deepen understanding and help pupils make meaningful connections between classroom learning and the wider world.
Our approach to trips and visits is intentional and curriculum-driven. Experiences are not “add-ons”; they are planned as an integral part of our curriculum design to help pupils know more, remember more and apply their learning across subjects.
These opportunities support our school values of Aspire, Belong, Care and Discover, helping pupils to:
-
aspire to new possibilities and future ambitions
-
develop a strong sense of belonging within their community and beyond
-
show care and respect for others, different cultures and the environment
-
discover new places, ideas and experiences
