EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
Our Early Years' classroom is full of exciting learning. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure that we can provide a learning environment that encourages independence and quality learning experiences. Information is shared through the year through online Learning Journeys, curriculum meetings and pupil progress meetings with parents and carers.
The EYFS framework is structured differently to the National Curriculum as it is organised across seven areas of learning rather than subjects. Links to each National Curriculum subject are shown on the subject specific pages of our website. Our Curriculum plan is intended to be flexible so that we can adapt our planning to reflect the children's needs and interests. The long term overview is available as a downloadable document at the bottom of this page.
