Summer Reading Challenge 2021
Join the Summer Reading Challenge by playing Reading Bingo! We want our children to read for pleasure over the summer to avoid the reading level dip in September.
There are fab prizes for a line and for a full house. The school library will be open on WEDNESDAY mornings throughout the summer to claim a prize or to borrow a book!
Download the bingo sheets below (use the 9 box grid for R,Y1 and Y2 and the 25 grid box for Y3-6) and get an adult to sign off the box as each challenge is completed. There is also a recommended reads list to inspire your child!
We would also like to collect some photographs of our children reading for pleasure over the summer. Please email them to head@penwortham-pri.lancs.sch.uk.
