Covid 19
This page will be used exclusively for information regarding the return to school of all pupils in September 2020. Copies of letter to parents regarding Covid 19, guidance during the pandemic in school and how we are managing the challenge of keeping everyone safe will be stored here.
The following advice was issued by the UK Government on 1st September for parents and carers:
Pupils who display any symptoms of the virus (a new continuous cough, a high temperature, a change in sense of smell or taste) should not attend school and should self isolate for 14 days. If possible a Covid19 test should be done and the results shared with school as soon as they are available. Preston residents with symptoms can arrange to be tested by booking online or calling NHS 119 to attend Preston's College.
Penwortham Primary School is working with NHS Test and Trace to support the safety of all our school family.
The link here will take you directly to NHS111 online. If you have any queries regarding fitness for school this online questionnaire may help.
For further guidance regarding what you should do if your child or a member of your household displays symptoms of a cold or Covid19 please read the leaflet below 'Information for Parents and Carers'.
