Mrs Gaskell’s page

To contact me during this period of school closure please e-mail and I will get back to you.

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my page. I hope you have been able to have some fun over  Easter and are looking forward to finding out what your teachers have planned for you to do this week.

We are all really missing you and so keeping in touch is so important. I look forward to hearing about how you are getting on.

Our ‘My Personal Best’ theme this week is co-operation.

During our time at home, I am sure you will all agree that this is another very important value to develop. Spend a few minutes thinking back over the last two weeks on how successful you have been. See if you can become even more co-operative with members of your family during this next week.

What colour would a zebra be if it lost all its stripes?

Our ‘My Personal Best’ theme last week was communication – a very important value.

Think about your communication skills.

  • What are your strengths?
  • How can you develop your skills of communication?
  • How have you communicated this week and how successful have you been?

A thunk is a simple-looking question about everyday things that stops you in your tracks and makes you think differently. They can help you have a friendly discussion and sometime make your brain ache. There are no right or wrong answers but they can get everyone thinking. Maybe you would like to share a thunk with your family over tea.

Can you feel happy and sad at the same time?
